Crafts & Games: Finger Puppets
Children love these finger puppets when learning vocabulary on animals. Use them (and get your students to use them) to create dialogues, plays and little stories:

The finger puppets can be used in many ways, including getting students to create a little dialogue using a home-made puppet theatre.
Alternatively, if the children are too little, etc. you can use sticks to make the puppets:
